The Master of Philosophy in Computer Science (Research) at UTM University Malaysia is a full-time program offered exclusively at the UTM Main Campus in Johor Bahru The duration of study ranges from two (2) to a maximum of four (4) years, depending on the student’s entry qualifications 

This program operates on a 2-semester academic schedule and is entirely research-focused Candidates work under the supervision of a faculty member, engaging in directed research that fosters the development and application of new knowledge 

Assessment includes the evaluation of initial research proposals, progress reports each semester, and a thesis examination (viva voce) to ensure comprehensive understanding and contribution to the field.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate
